Diane Festin LaRoss
Diane Festin LaRoss is a Manager for Taylor English Decisions for the Government Affairs and Business Consulting practices. With nearly 30 years of experience as an attorney in and out of the courtroom, Ms. LaRoss’ skill set includes strategic planning, creative problem solving, integrating and synthesizing complex information in a compelling, persuasive way, mediating and arbitrating cases, and coalition building.
As an attorney with Taylor English Duma, her experience ranges across many areas of law representing private and public clients, corporations and individuals in tort litigation, civil rights, construction, government contracting, public procurement, municipal liability, personal injury, insurance defense, zoning, contracts, tax law and child care law.
Prior to joining Taylor English Duma, Ms. LaRoss served as counsel at Powell Goldstein LLP (now Bryan Cave), a national law firm headquartered in Atlanta, where she represented private contractors in bidding, defending or challenging contracts with state and federal governments. Ms. LaRoss managed multijurisdictional construction litigation and supervised a national litigation management program for a major retailer in the construction industry. Before joining Powell Goldstein, Ms. LaRoss served as an assistant attorney general for the state of Georgia, handling civil rights and professional liability claims against law enforcement personnel and representing the state in major tort litigation. Prior to that, Ms. LaRoss handled police professional and municipal liability cases.
Ms. LaRoss currently serves as a volunteer lawyer for Cobb County Legal Aid, Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, and the Truancy Intervention program.
